Join the Israel Committee for the first of two congregational book discussions.
For this first installment we are reading David Hazony’s book, Young Zionist Voices: A New Generation Speaks Out. The book is a collection of essays from young people explaining their vision for the future of Zionism/Israel.
We hope this event will provide us with an opportunity as a congregation to discuss those perspectives as well as our own. CBS member, Marla Israel, will be leading the discussion.
If you didn’t pick up a copy of the book at Yom Beth Shalom, the Sisterhood Judaica Shop had a few copies left for purchase. If not there, Book Bin can get more books. There is still plenty of time to read an essay or three before the event. Even if you can’t join us on October 25, read the book so yu can join in the ongoing conversations.
