CBS Podcast – Shalom L’Tziyon

Rabbi David Chapman hosts a podcast from Congregation Beth Shalom!

The name, Shalom L’Tziyon, reference our synagogue name, but also our eternal hope that peace will come to the land of Zion. In each episode, Rabbi Chapman will interview Israelis about their life and work, their experience over the last few years, and what they hope for in the future, along with questions from the community.

His first guest will be Ofer Bavly, JUF Vice President and Director General of the JUF Israel Office. Ofer is a third-generation Israeli diplomat and a noted expert both foreign and domestic affairs in Israel. Ofer helps lead JUF’s grantmaking programs throughout Israel, enabling Chicagoans to make a difference on the ground. Through Ofer’s leadership, JUF has been instrumental in the revitalization of Kibbutz Nir Oz following Oct. 7.
