CBS Welcomes Interfaith Families
As of May 2010, through the hard work of the Interfaith Family Initiative/Keruv committee, the leadership of clergy, and the support of our Boards, we have approved a policy for the implementation of our Interfaith Family Initiative/Keruv program. Please take a look at our policy for more details.
Congregation Beth Shalom welcomes people whose lives are touched by, or who are in interfaith relationships, in order to make them feel a part of, rather than apart from, the synagogue, including both current and potential synagogue members. Our Interfaith Family Initiative/Keruv program meets people where they are in their lives and encourages Jewish living through education and participation in the life of CBS.
We annually have Keruv specific programming, but more importantly, we are encouraging interfaith families to participate in a wide range of synagogue programs. We want families to experience firsthand the rich, diverse, and compelling programming we offer, as well as experience all aspects of our community.
Please contact us with any questions or suggestions you may have.
L'shalom (Wishing You Peace),
|Keruv Committee Chair|
