Standing Together - Tree of Life Synagogue

On Saturday, October 27, 2018 a hateful, murderous attack took place at the Tree of Life*Or L'Simcha Congregation in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh and 11 innocent Jewish lives were taken. This is the worst attack on members of the American Jewish community in the history of the United States.

On Sunday, October 28, 2018 over 400 Beth Shalom members and members of the surrounding communities, joined together in solidarity with the clergy of Congregation Beth Shalom as well as spiritual leaders from other Jewish and non-Jewish houses of worship. Our own Cantor Stoehr is a native of Pittsburgh, and personally knew three of the deceased.
